Advised a construction company in Makkah to build a skyscraper costing about SR 16 billion Saudi Riyals. Involved in negotiation with subcontractors, drafting various agreements, leasing arrangements, etc.
Advised a Saudi author on a dispute related to his publishing rights in Lebanon.
Advises clients on issues involving commercial court law, company’s law, registration of companies, amendment of articles of association, labor and workmen law as well as preparation of legal opinions pertaining to securities, checks, and promissory notes.
Advises financial intuitions concerning their dealings with the Saudi Capital Markets Authority and drafts various related agreements.
Advises clients on arbitration and litigation matters. Participated in the legal team advising a private client in a major arbitration in Saudi Arabia.
Preparation of lawsuits and proceedings at law in relation to commercial and civil claims.
Drafts corporate documents such as letters of intent, memorandum of understanding, articles of association, joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements, distributorship and agency agreements, settlement agreements, etc.
Prior to joining LFKAN, Mr. Hashim worked as an assistant to the public prosecutor in Egypt for about 7 years and also worked as consultant to the Egypt Ministry of Justice for international agreements. |
